Usher To Headline 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show

American singer, Usher Raymond, has been named the headlining performer for the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime show.

Usher made the announcement via his X handle, formerly called Twitter on Sunday.

“It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list. I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before.

“Thank you to the fans and everyone who made this opportunity happen. I’ll see you real soon,” Usher tweeted.

The performance will mark Usher’s second feature on the show.

He earlier performed with popular music band, Black Eyes Peas, in 2011.

Also, a statement released by the National Football League confirmed that the singer will headline the show, which is sponsored by Apple Music.

Also, Record label, Roc Nation, will be producing the show for the fifth year in a row. Popular rap mogul, Jay Z, who owns the label expressed high hopes for the upcoming performance.

He also said in the statement, “Usher is the ultimate artist and showman. Ever since his debut at the age of 15, he’s been charting his own unique course. Beyond his flawless singing and exceptional choreography, Usher bares his soul. His remarkable journey has propelled him to one of the grandest stages in the world. I can’t wait to see the magic.”

The highly-anticipated event is slated to hold on the 11 of February, 2024 at the Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas.

The 2023 edition of the show was headlined by pop star, Rihanna, who broke the Internet after announcing her second pregnancy mid-performance.
