DJ Spinall Reprimands Rema For Calling Out DJ Neptune

DJ Spinall has blasted singer Rema for calling out his colleague, DJ Neptune over intellectual property theft.

DJ Neptune dropped his sophomore album, the second volume of his debut piece, Greatness this morning. The star-studded 16-track project features acts like Laycon, Mr Eazi, Patoranking, Bella Shmurda, Adekunle Gold, Blaqbonez, Rema amongst others.

Rema is obviously displeased with the move by DJ Neptune, as he took to social media to urge him to take down the track.

DJ Neptune in his response insisted that he had indeed gotten permission from the artist’s management before going ahead to release the song on his second studio album, Greatness 2.0.

He shared pictures of chats between himself and Rema’s manager, Seun Okeke, which proved he was given the approval to publish the song and also make preparations for a music video.

DJ Spinall has frowned at Rema’s action as he reasoned that Rema should have called him instead of taking the issue public.

See what he wrote below;

It takes a lot to put this together ! Insane project brother. I Listened again & again … Well done OG @deejayneptune

Nobody is more important than anyone !!!! We all bring something to table … We are all part of the global scheme of things. Before you come here to sound like a smart guy … you can make a phone call !

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
