Backstreet Boys Singer Nick Carter Mourns Brother

American singer, Nick Carter known to be a member of the popular vocal group ‘Backstreet Boys’ has mourned the passing of his younger brother Aaron Carter.

According to Entertainment Weekly, he was reportedly found dead by his manager at his home in Lancaster, Calif on Saturday morning.

Nick Carter , reacting to the death of his brother, posted a number of old pictures of them together on his Instagram page on Sunday.

He said they both had a complicated relationship, but regardless of that he still loves him.

Nick further addressed his brother’s rocky relationship as well as his struggles with substance addiction and mental illness in the caption “My heart hurts.”

He wrote, “My heart is broken. Even though my brother and I have had a complicated relationship, my love for him has never ever faded. I have always held on to the hope that he would somehow, someday want to walk a healthy path and eventually find the help that he so desperately needed.

“Sometimes we want to blame someone or something for a loss, but the truth is that addiction and mental illness is the real villain here. I will miss my brother more than anyone will ever know. I love you Chizz. Now you can finally have the peace you could never find here on earth….I love you baby brother.”

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
