Cole Palmer Wins EPL Player Of The Month For September

Cole Palmer, the standout player for Chelsea, has been selected as September 2024’s EA SPORTS Player of the Month.

Palmer had the most goals and goal involvement in the Premier League during the previous month. He recorded five goals and one assist in four games.

Remarkably, he became the first player in Premier League history to score four goals in the first half of a Premier League match, with four of those goals coming in a devastating 21-minute span against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Palmer also scored a goal in a 3-0 victory over West Ham United and contributed an assist in a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.

Palmer has won the EA SPORTS Player of the Month award for the second time. He also won it in April 2024, claiming two of the remaining three available trophies. Only Frank Lampard, with four, has won the accolade more times for Chelsea than Palmer.

The 22-year-old beat out an eight-man shortlist (Harvey Barnes (Newcastle), Luis Diaz (Liverpool), Gabriel (Arsenal), Ryan Gravenberch (Liverpool), Raul Jimenez (Fulham), Dwight McNeil (Everton), and Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) after the public’s votes on the EA SPORTS website were combined with those of a panel of football experts.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.

“A lot of companies have chosen to downsize, and maybe that was the right thing for them. We chose a different path. Our belief was that if we kept putting great products in front of customers, they would continue to open their wallets.”
