Davido Says He Met Chioma When He Had No Money

Nigerian singer David Adeleke, aka Davido, has said he met his wife, Chioma, before he became rich and famous.

The billionaire son disclosed this while featuring as a guest in the latest episode of The Bridge Show.

Davido said if he had not met Chioma before he became successful, it would have been difficult for him to find love.

He said, “I have a very rich friend who is single, whenever I’m on the phone with my wife, he would be like he has everything in this world but this is what he is missing.

“I met my wife before I had money. I was saying to myself if I didn’t meet her and now I was single, and I met a girl, I already know that she’s talking to me because of who I am and what I have.

“To me, success is when I am doing something and I see all those people who were around me when I was nothing, and they see me now. That’s the sweetest thing ever. Not that you blow up and you start hanging out with different people. You need to keep the people that were there with you when you were grinding.”

Always keep those people in your life who truly love you, motivate you, encourage you, inspire you, enhance you and make you happy when you had nothing.

Live with Purpose, Love with Passion. Remember to be happy

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
