Doris Ogah Wins 45th Miss Nigeria

Doris Esiokhayamhe Ogah, a 26-year-old Nigerian lawyer and model representing the South-South region, has emerged as the winner of the 45th Miss Nigeria Beauty Pageant.

Last night, the Royal Box on Victoria Island in Lagos hosted the glitzy Coronation Gala. Shatu Garko, whose reign as queen will never be forgotten, is succeeded by Doris.

Adaeze Aduaka, a former beauty queen, hosted the event, and Beauty Tukura served as the red carpet host, greeting attendees.

Renowned individuals such as actress Kate Henshaw, photographer Kelechi Amadi-Obi, and designer Mai Atafo were on the judges’ panel, which was chaired by Mo Abudu. Olatomiwa Williams, Wunmi Ogunbiyi, Aisha Abba Kyari, TV host Michelle Dede, actress Ini Edo, former Miss Nigeria Ezinne Akudo Anyaoha, Dr. Adaobi Nwakuche, and Olatomiwa Williams were among the other judges.

The evening marked the beginning of a new chapter by celebrating beauty and purpose.

Congratulations Queen Doris!

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
