Faith Without Boundaries: My Story of Believing In Islam And Christianity – Nasboi

Lawal Nasiru, often known as Nasboi, is a singer and skitmaker who has given an explanation of his dual religious beliefs.

The comedian clarified that it was challenging for him to be a bigot because he was the product of a Christian mother from Warri and a Yoruba Muslim father.

He added that he was impartial on ethnic and religious issues because he was born and reared in Port Harcourt and attended school in Uyo.

“My papa Yoruba, my mama Warri. My papa Muslim, my mama Christian.

I was born and raised in Port Harcourt. I studied at the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom. This is why I can never relate to tribalism or all the religious agendas,” he wrote on his X page.

Responding to a fan who asked about his religion, Nasboi said he considers himself both a Muslim and a Christian.

“I am Christmus [both Christian and Muslim],” he wrote.

In embracing both Islam and Christianity, he demonstrates that faith can be a personal and inclusive journey. His experience highlights the importance of understanding and respect between different religious beliefs.

Ultimately, his dual faith reflects a commitment to seeking truth, living with compassion, and fostering harmony among diverse spiritual paths.
