A phony doctor, whose identity was not revealed, was detained by the Lagos State Police Command, after being in operation since January 2022.
The suspect allegedly faked a medical license in his name, according to Benjamin Hundeyin, the command’s spokesman, who revealed this in a tweet on Saturday.
Hundeyin stated that a few state residents had seen the suspect and notified the command.
In a tweet, the PPRO shared a photo of the suspect, saying: “This 26-year-old man faked a medical license in his name and has been practising as a medical doctor since January 2022.
“Commendation goes to public-spirited Lagosians who spotted him and promptly informed the Police. You have saved lives. If you see something, say something!”
