Richard Mofe-Damijo, also known as RMD, is a seasoned Nollywood actor and director who has called on Nigerians to participate in finding solutions rather than just criticizing the nation’s issues.
He gave a speech at the Pivot Nigeria Conference in Lagos in 2026.
He acknowledged that the nation faces numerous difficulties, but he added that identifying issues should be accompanied by attempts to address them.
Additionally, he urged Nigerians to hold political leaders more accountable, arguing that they should answer to the people they represent.
According to him, Nigerians need to make sure those in public office understand that they are answerable to the people because they do not hold leaders accountable enough.
Additionally, RMD reminded Nigerians that their actions affect the country’s reputation, particularly when they travel or interact with foreigners.
In a country where complaints often outnumber concrete action, RMD’s message is a timely reminder: complain less, work more, and take practical steps toward the change we want to see.
Live with Purpose, Love with Passion. Remember to be happy
