Nigerian content creator Layi Wasabi has been praised by Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke.

As Layi Wasabi won the AMVCA for best digital content creation, the governor rejoiced.

In a hearty congratulatory message to the comedian in a post via his Instagram account, Adeleke said: “A very big congratulations to one of our own, a proud son of Osun State, Isaac Ayomide Olayiwola, popularly known as @layiwasabi on his exploit as the winner of the Best Digital Content Creator at the 2024 edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA).

“Layi’s growth exemplifies the model of the new Osun we are building. The one that excels beyond limitations. From a law graduate to becoming an excellent content creator, Layi has shown how passion, commitment and consistency can lead to excellence.

“He promotes the identity of the state through the production of his unique and educational content. As a great fan of his works, I welcome this special recognition from AMVCA. Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
