Helicopter Crashes Into A Building In Ikeja, Lagos

Pandemonium broke out at Oba Akran Ikeja area of Lagos State after a single-engine plane crashed and burst into flames.

The incident happened adjacent AP Filling Station and United Bank of Africa, UBA, Oba Akran.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident happened at about 3.30pm.

It was not clear at press time if the pilot of the airplane survived.

It was not also clear if there are other causalities, as rescue operations by first emergency responders is ongoing.

Men of the Lagos Fire and Rescue Service are being awaited for further emergency operations to salvage the situation.
