Juliana Olayode Praises Mo Bimpe for Promoting HPV Awareness

Juliana Olayode, an actress, has reserved particular admiration for her colleague Mo Bimpe. Juliana praised Mo Bimpe for utilizing her video “Healing” to spread awareness of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV).

She also emphasized the importance of putting health and wellbeing first and urged women to be tested for HPV.

Olayode, on Instagram, wrote: “I heard about HPV for the first time when @mo_bimpe told me she’ll be doing a film on HPV. All my life I’ve never heard of it. Thank you for using your platform to create an awareness on HPV @mo_bimpe I am so proud of you and your work.

“One of the things I learnt from seeing HEALING is that ignorance is costly. I also learnt that as a society, we need to stop shaming people, when it comes to marriage, we must have the difficult conversations and be willing to give grace to our partners. When we encounter problems or challenges, we should go through it together in love. I can go on and on.

“We all need to get tested, especially women. Let’s go do our HPV test, above let’s do all we can to take care of our health and stay healthy”.

HPV, or human papillomavirus, is a group of more than 200 related viruses. Some types of HPV are transmitted through s*xual contact and can infect the genital areas, mouth, and throat. Certain high-risk types of HPV are associated with the development of cancers, including cervical, anal, oropharyngeal, and other genital cancers. Other types of HPV can cause benign conditions like genital warts.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
