Toyo Baby, also known as actress Juliana Olayode, has praised her older colleague Funke Akindele, referring to her as a “mother” figure.
Funke has acquired the respect and admiration that not many women can achieve, Juliana emphasized.
Juliana also praised Funke’s strong work ethic in an interview on the Oyinmomo podcast, calling her a “workaholic” who constantly produces excellent work.
She wrote: “What covers everything is to call her (Funke) a mother. There are various type of women, but not everybody qualifies to be called a mother. Aunty Funke is also a workaholic. She doesn’t joke with her work. She’s also a goal getter. She makes sure she gets the best out of every project”.
Juliana has also in the past celebrated Funke’s life as a “testament of great grace and divine favor” and expressed gratitude for the opportunities she’s had to work with her.
