Man B€ats And Str!pping His Mother Nak3d For Hating His Wife

A 23-year-old man from Lower Gweru’s Mncedisi Village was arrested and charged with assault following a brutal attack on his mother.

On November 18, 2024, the horrible tragedy happened, and the community has widely condemned it.

After allegedly returning home drunk, the man accused his mother of harboring animosity toward his wife. He started making threats to kill her, which caused the altercation to turn violent. Before he attacked her, he made spooky comments about beheading her.

In a fit of wrath, the man struck his mother several times with an iron rod, aiming for her left eye, forehead, and other parts of her body. Despite her attempts to flee, he went as far as stripping her naked to prevent her escape.

Her calls for help alerted nearby residents, who intervened and saved her from further harm. The woman sustained severe injuries, including a deep cut on her forehead and swelling around her left eye, necessitating immediate medical attention.

The man was arrested and charged with domestic abuse after the assault. The specifics of his violent acts were revealed when he appeared before the Gweru Magistrates Court. On November 29, 2024, the court judged him guilty of the allegations.

He is expected to appear in court again on December 3, 2024, for sentencing after being placed under remand in custody.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
