Michelle Obama’s Bedtime Dispute With Barack

Michelle Obama said that Barack Obama, her husband and former US president, is unable to comprehend the importance of bedtime in her life.

The former first lady recently appeared as a guest on the upcoming March 20th episode of Kylie Kelce’s podcast, “Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce.”

Michelle Obama talked candidly during their chat about how she loves to retire to bed early and that it “is the best time of the day.”

However, she also pointed out how her husband, Barack Obama, is unable to understand how she can possibly go to sleep at night so early and even “teases” his wife about it.

Obama continued, “My husband teases me about how early I can go to bed.” She explained, “He just doesn’t understand the idea of getting into some good sheets and it’s cool.” The attorney further disclosed that if they had guests at their home she wouldn’t mind being awake and spending some quality time with them: “If we’ve got people in the house, I’m game. I’m there. I’m up.”

The author of “The Light We Carry” said that she would laugh or talk to them, but once they were finished, she would be “trying not to go to bed before the sun goes down.” The host of the podcast, Kylie Kelce, then went on to ask her what her “ideal bedtime” was. In response, Obama said, “Anytime after dinner.”

During the podcast, Michelle Obama also talked about how her daughters — Malia Ann Obama and Sasha Obama — were also “good sleepers.” She said that as her girls went to bed early she had “a couple of hours” to herself and she believes that maybe that is where her habit of going to bed early came from.

Sleep is that golden chain that ties health and our bodies together.
