Mr. Ibu, A Nollywood Icon, Was Laid To Rest Today In His Hometown

Fans, coworkers, and loved ones of the late, seasoned Nollywood actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu, are grieving today as he is buried in his hometown.

It is important to remember that the adored actor died earlier this year following a protracted illness.

Following the confirmation of Mr. Ibu’s passing in March by Actors Guild of Nigeria president Emeka Rollas, fans, colleagues, and family members expressed their deep sorrow.

Mr. Ibu was well-known for his hilarious abilities and iconic parts, and those who grew up seeing his movies are mourning his passing.
