Nigerian Striker, Victor Osimhen In Shock Move To Manchester United

Victor Osimhen, a striker valued at £95 million, is expected to make a shocking switch to Manchester United this summer.

Man United reportedly approached Napoli to negotiate a potential transfer for Osimhen, according to Corriere dello Sport.

After a disastrous 2021–2022 season, the Premier League heavyweights are anticipated to undergo a significant rebuild this summer under new manager Erik ten Hag.

The Red Devils only managed to score 57 goals in 38 Premier League games last season, and Cristiano Ronaldo was their top scorer with 18 goals in 30 games.

However, Ronaldo’s colleagues failed to back him up, as Edinson Cavani, Jadon Sancho, and Marcus Rashford scored just nine league goals in total.

Osimhen, meanwhile, moved from Lille to Napoli in the summer of 2020 for a €70 million club-record transfer fee.

The Nigerian international helped Luciano Spaletti’s team finish third in the Serie A standings last season with 18 goals in 32 games for Napoli.
