Oshiomhole Secures Edo North APC Senatorial Nomination

Adams Oshiomhole, an incumbent senator and former governor, and his opponent, Senator Joe Ikpea, easily won the All Progressives Congress senatorial primary in Edo and secured their tickets without receiving a single vote against them.

Additionally, Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama won the Edo South senatorial district’s APC primary.

Muhammed Ajana, the chairman of the APC National Assembly Primary Election, announced the results at Urokpota Hall in Benin, and Ogbeide-Ihama emerged victorious in the seven local government areas of Edo South.

He received 27,154 votes, compared to 13,580 for Senator Neda Imasuen and 6785 for Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.
