Reactions As Osinachi’s Husband Escapes From Prison

Late gospel singer, Osinachi’s husband, Peter Nwachukwu, was one of those who escaped during last Tuesday’s terrorist attack on the Kuje Medium Security Correctional Centre in Abuja.

Recall that the Nigeria Correctional Sercive (NCoS), has said a total 879 inmates escaped from the facility during the night attack.

According to SaharaReporters, multiple security sources on Tuesday, July 12, confirmed that the husband of the late gospel singer was among the escaped inmates.

“DURING OUR ROLL CALL YESTERDAY, WE DISCOVERED THAT THE HUSBAND OF THE LATE GOSPEL SINGER WAS MISSING,” A SENIOR PRISON OFFICIAL SAID.

His wife died on April 8 and many of her colleagues had accused her husband of subjecting the deceased to domestic violence, leading to her death.

He was alleged to have kicked Osinachi in the chest, leading to a blood clot that eventually killed her.

While reacting to this some Nigerians are suspecting foul play and wondering why his name wasn’t on the list of missing prisoners released.

Adaeze Desmond Queendaline: “He can’t hide forever because his face don cast”

Recall that the remains of the late gospel singer was buried on Saturday, June 25, 2022, in Abia State.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
