Kwara Kidnapping Crisis: Soldiers Rescue Two Victims, Arrest Eight Suspects in Fresh Operation

The Nigerian Army’s 22 Armoured Brigade has successfully rescued two kidnap victims and arrested eight suspected kidnappers in a daring operation in Kwara State. The troops, deployed at the Forward Operating Base (FOB) in Patigi, conducted a coordinated raid on a suspected kidnappers’ enclave in Latandaji Village.

Details of the Operation:

  • Rescued Victims: Mr. Amos Moses and Mr. Philip Michael were safely rescued from captivity.
  • Arrested Suspects: Eight suspected kidnappers were apprehended, with one individual, Mr. Mohammed Mohammed, sustaining gunshot wounds during the exchange of fire.
  • Recovered Items: Two motorcycles and two expended cartridge shells believed to have been used by the suspects were recovered.
