Sonia Uche Breaks Silence After Ned Nwoko’s ‘Punctuation Error’ Links Her to Regina Daniels Drug Claims

Nigerian actress Sonia Uche has responded to Senator Ned Nwoko’s accusation that a “Sonia Uche Montana” supplied drugs to his estranged wife, Regina Daniels. In a light‑hearted Instagram post, Sonia clarified that the senator simply forgot a comma: he meant “Sonia Uche, Montana” not “Sonia Uche Montana.” She captioned the reveal with “Punctuation matters” and reintroduced herself to fans, turning the controversy into a humorous moment.

Nwoko had claimed in a lengthy Facebook statement that several of Regina’s siblings and friends—including “Sonia Uche Montana”—defied medical instructions, entered his home uninvited, and brought the same substances Regina was being treated for. The allegation sparked backlash on social media, with many users demanding explanations and others defending Sonia and Uche Montana.

Both Sonia Uche and Uche Montana have publicly denied any involvement in the alleged drug supply chain, emphasizing that the claims stem from a misunderstanding of punctuation rather than factual evidence.

The scandal remains part of the ongoing feud between Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko, which has seen accusations of domestic violence, forced rehabilitation, and illicit drug use dominate headlines across Nigerian media.
