The rapidly rising Nigerian musician Olusipe David, better known by his stage name Spyro, has explained why he has been putting off his tour to Canada.
The “Who’s Your Guy” hitmaker stated on Instagram that he is hesitant to visit Canada after a Canadian woman crushed his heart back there.
When she broke up with him due to a misunderstanding, he claimed to have seen a “future” with her and was even close to popping the question.
“Canada, I want to be honest today. The reason why I have pushed this tour this far is because I was still healing from a serious heartbreak from one of your girls there. Quite painful as I saw a future with us,” he said.
“Already bought a ring and all of a sudden she ended it and for what, because a female friend pecked me after I bought her something she needed and I wanted to be open so I told her and that led to a series of events that ended the
relationship .
“Since then I resented the idea of Canada and everything that surrounds it but now am healed thanks to series of messages from my pastor. Canada it is time.”
We may never understand His wisdom, but we simply have to trust His will. God has a reason for allowing some things to happen.
