“Tinubu Ahead Of Orchestrated Game Unfolding In America” — Bayo Onanuga

Bayo Onanuga, who serves as the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy for President Bola Tinubu, remarked that the Nigerian president was “well ahead of the orchestrated game unfolding in America” in response to the intensified pressure from the United States regarding claims of Christian persecution within Nigeria.

This observation from Onanuga arrived just a few days following the decision by U.S. President Donald Trump to once again classify Nigeria as a Country of Particular Concern (CPC), along with a threat to cut off every form of assistance to the nation.

In addition, Trump delivered an even harsher caution, warning that the United States “may very well go into that now disgraced country guns-a-blazing, to completely wipe out the Islamic terrorists killing Christians.”

In a response shared through a message on his X account this past Sunday, November 2, Onanuga declared that President Tinubu had long foreseen the increasing global scrutiny directed at Nigeria’s challenges with security. He pointed out that the leader had previously delivered firm, uncompromising instructions to the heads of the country’s armed forces.

“President Bola Tinubu was well ahead of the orchestrated game unfolding in America as he told the new service chiefs on Thursday what Nigerians expect of them. No more excuses, he said. Nigerians want results,” Onanuga wrote.

Onanuga included a segment from President Tinubu’s speech to the top military officials, a portion that demanded bold and creative measures to counter the rising dangers to safety throughout various regions of the nation:

“Security threats are constantly evolving, constantly mutating. Of grave concern to our administration is the recent emergence of new armed groups in the North-Central, North-West, and parts of the South. We must not allow these new threats to fester. We must be decisive and proactive. Let us smash the new snakes right in the head,” President Tinubu said.

Moreover, the President encouraged the armed forces to incorporate advanced tools and fresh ideas in their efforts to combat rebellion, promising complete backing from the government to achieve concrete outcomes.

These resolute statements from President Tinubu occur against a backdrop of escalating backlash from specific conservative members of the U.S. Congress, who argue that followers of Christianity in Nigeria are subjected to organized oppression.

During the month of October, U.S. Senator Ted Cruz put forward the Nigeria Religious Freedom Accountability Act of 2025, legislation aimed squarely at imposing penalties on Nigerian authorities alleged to have facilitated the “mass murder of Christians.”

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
