Tonto Dikeh Celebrates Nigeria’s Independence In A Special Way

Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has shared breathtaking photos to mark the 2023 Independence Day celebration.

Taking to her Instagram page, Tonto stated that it’s her duty to celebrate Nigeria when she is down and when she is up. For her, it’s her duty to celebrate the country’s resilience and products which is us as citizens.

She noted how Nigerians have been denied their rights, yet they still strive; weren’t expected to succeed, but they did; and weren’t expecting to grow, but they did.

Tonto praised Nigerian youths for being one of the richest folks out there and how citizens have continued to survive.

She added that she isn’t just a pretty face, but a politician, an ex-deputy gubernatorial candidate and she owes her strength her celebration, just the same way, she owes her country a celebration.

NIGERIA OUR COUNTRY
NIGERIA OUR ONLY HOME.

.
It is my duty to celebrate her when she is down and when she is up.
It’s my duty to celebrate her resilience and products which is us as citizens.
We have been denied our rights, yet we still strive.
We weren’t expected to succeed, But we did.
We weren’t expected to grow, But we did…
Our country was not built for Us to survive but we are LIVING IT UP.
Our youths are one of the richest folks out there.
IF FOR NOTHING, YOU (CITIZENS) ARE EVERYTHING WORTH CELEBRATING …

I AM NOT JUST A PRETTY FACE, I AM A POLITICIAN, AN EX-DEPUTY GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE.
I owe My strength a celebration today as I owe my country a celebration.
TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE NIGERIA WORK”.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
