Tourist Dies After Falling 6000 ft Into Rocks

A man lost his life in a devastating paragliding accident at one of Europe’s most popular adventure resorts.

Frank Lally, 62, went to Turkey’s Babadag Mountain range for a lifetime adventure, but it ended tragically when he crashed into a rocky region after falling off from a famous spot in the Oludeniz area, more than 6,000 feet above sea level.

The National Medical Rescue Team and the Gendarmerie Search and Rescue Battalion Command arrived on the scene as helpless bystanders quickly dialled the emergency service.

The British visitor was placed on a stretcher before being rushed in an ambulance to Fethiye State Hospital.

Unfortunately, the visitor did not survive the fall.

Turkish investigators will look into the deadly occurrence in an effort to piece together how it happened as the specifics are yet unclear.

Babadag Mountain attracts visitors from all over the world because it often has favourable weather and is renowned for its natural beauty.
