TRIBE OF ISSACHAR GLOBAL OUTREACH PARTNERS ITIRE-IKATE LCDA ON MEDICAL OUTREACH FOR RESIDENTS

In a bid to improve the health and wellbeing of residents in the community, the Tribe of Issachar Global Outreach has partnered with the Itire-Ikate Local Council Development Area (LCDA) under the leadership of Hon. Oluwafemi Odunayo Daniel, the Chairman, to organize a medical outreach programme.

The programme, which aims to provide free medical care to residents, is a manifestation of the LCDA’s commitment to improving the lives of its people. Hon. Oluwafemi Odunayo Daniel, in his remarks, expressed gratitude to the Tribe of Issachar Global Outreach for partnering with the LCDA on this initiative.

“We are delighted to partner with the Tribe of Issachar Global Outreach on this medical outreach programme. Our administration is committed to improving the health and well-being of our residents, and this programme is a significant step in that direction,” he said.

Dr. Ifeoma Jane U. Kamanya, Convener of the programme, explained that the reason for the medical outreach was to bridge the gap in healthcare access for residents in the community. “We recognized the need for accessible healthcare in this community, and we’re thrilled to partner with the Itire-Ikate LCDA to make this a reality,” she said.

Dr. Kamanya also expressed appreciation to the residents who have taken advantage of the programme, saying, “We’re grateful to see so many residents taking advantage of this opportunity. It shows that there’s a real need for this kind of service and we’re committed to continuing to provide support to this community.”

Dr. Olufemi Oyekan, Medical Officer of Health (MOH) of Itire-Ikate LCDA, informed the residents that this medical outreach was just the beginning of a series of health programmes outlined by the Executive Chairman. “This is just the tip of the iceberg. Our Executive Chairman, Hon. Oluwafemi Odunayo Daniel, has outlined a comprehensive health programme that will be carried out from time to time to improve the health and well-being of our residents,” he said.

The medical outreach programme featured a range of services, including free medical consultations, screenings, and treatment. Residents are expected to benefit from the programme, which is expected to improve their overall health and well-being.

The Tribe of Issachar Global Outreach has been involved in various community development initiatives, and this partnership with the Itire-Ikate LCDA is a further demonstration of its commitment to giving back to the community.
