Two Super Eagles Players Nominated For October’s Serie A Player Of The Month

Two of Nigeria’s Super Eagles players, Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman, have been nominated for the Serie A Player of the Month award for October.

Osimhen and Lookman, who play for Napoli and Atalanta respectively, were both in outstanding form last month.

Osimhen, 23, who was injured in September and was unable to play for Napoli, made a strong comeback in October.

The forward scored five goals in three league appearances for Luciano Spalletti’s team.

The former Lille star scored goals against Bologna and AS Roma before scoring a hat-trick against Sassuolo last weekend.

Ademola Lookman, on his part, scored four goals in five games for Atalanta in October.

The agile winger scored against Fiorentina, Udinese, Sassuolo, and Empoli.

The pair will compete for the individual prize against AC Milan’s Rafael Leao, Inter Milan’s Nicolo Barella, and Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
