Zelenskyy To Meet King Charles III After Clash With Trump

As part of his trip to the UK, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is set to meet with King Charles III of England.

Zelenskky’s spokesperson, Sergiy Nykyforov, announced the visit. At 17:15 GMT on Saturday, Zelenskyy will meet with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer. On Sunday, he will meet with King Charles III and a group of European allies.

The UK government has requested the meeting. This followed Zelenskyy’s Friday meeting in Washington, DC, with US President Donald Trump. The two presidents got into a furious argument during the meeting.

Zelenskyy was supposed to sign a mining agreement with the United States that may have ended the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

During the meeting, Zelenskky accused Russia of not respecting diplomacy and the ceasefire agreement which led to continued death.

Aggrieved by the remarks of his Ukrainian counterpart, Trump said Zelenskky was trying to evoke world war three.
