Three suspects have been detained by agents of the Western Nigeria Security Network Agency, Amotekun, for allegedly stealing goats.

The Amotekun Osogbo Command in the state of Osun, paraded the accused on Tuesday, September 6th.

According to the command, the names of the accused are Sulaiman Garbuga, Wale Samuel, and 40-year-old mechanic Segun Oladipupo.

The culprits were apprehended at Osogbo, according to the Osun Amotekun Field Commander, Amitolu Shittu, after some Oyo State Amotekun operatives alerted the Osun Command that certain thieves were operating a stolen-goats business.

According to Amitolu, the security team acted quickly after receiving the information and stormed various suspicious locations, where Segun Oladipulo and Wale Samuel were arrested.

A space bus was discovered with the suspects in the process of a raid, which they reportedly used to conduct their illicit enterprise.

Shittu revealed that the suspects used the bus to do the crime, which was provided to them by their sponsor, who is currently at large.

He said, “The suspects disguised as people transporting beans and onions and use it as cover to ferry the goats which according to the suspects were picked at different locations in Osogbo and Ibadan.

“We were notified by some operatives in Ibadan, Oyo State that some criminals were engaging in stealing goats.

“We decided to raid some places and discovered some suspects with a bus carrying goats. They put beans and onion to cover them. During interrogation, they confessed to having stolen them.”

He further stated that after thorough investigations were complete, the suspects would be turned over to the police and charged in court.

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
