The Northern Youths Council of Nigeria (NYCN) has shown satisfaction with the activities of security agencies following the recent extermination of hundreds of bandits in Katsina, Niger, Zamfara, Kaduna, and other parts of northern Nigeria, according to the NYCN’s statement.

The organization congratulated valiant soldiers for the sacrifices they have made to ensure that Nigerians can sleep well at night while pursuing their business activities without fear of being molested by bandits or other criminals.

Its President and spokesperson, Isah Abubakar and Mock Samuel Kure, released a joint statement in which they encouraged community leaders in regions where bandits hide to provide intelligence to security agents in order for them to win the fight once and for all.

The statement read, “Winning the war against all forms of banditry, kidnapping, killings, maiming and cattle rustling will make life better for the people and will enable them to return to their normal way of life from the traumatized system they have found themselves in.

“It is only when Nigerians irrespective of any different unite that the greatness of the country will be announced to the whole world because we have the best human and natural resources to be a pacesetter to the entire world.

“We should not allow things that do not matter to deter us from God-given blessings we have when we all come together to do the right thing for us to realize our full potential,” the group said.

The group urged Nigerians to band together against all forces working against the country’s harmony, growth, and development in order for the country to realize its full potentials at the international level.

In preparation for their journey to seek peace for their homeland, the youths prayed to God for the complete success of the military forces in their battle against the bandits.
