Four Arrested After Stealing Perfumes Worth €950

Perfume is one thing that you have everywhere with you! You have more than one and every time you finish a bottle you are feeling lonely.

Four people have been arrested on suspicion of stealing perfumes worth €950 from a Nicosia shop, police said on Tuesday.

If you have ever been to Cyprus you will know that Nicosia has two major two shopping malls, the Mall of Cyprus and the Mall of Engomi. These malls offer an array of international fashion brands.

The suspects, who were aged 18, 20, 25, and 32, got arrested on Monday after police received information from a whistleblower regarding the theft.

According to police, the four were caught red-handed near the crime scene with several perfume bottles in their possession.

In a subsequent search at their Nicosia house, officers found more perfumes, as well as several clothes and shoes which they suspect, were also stolen.

The suspects are facing charges of conspiracy to commit a crime, theft, illegal possession of the property, and money laundering.

Nicosia, being the capital of such an exotic country as Cyprus, is a better shopping spot for tourists. Offering a traditional Turkish market, folk art, crafts and fashionable shops and boutiques, Nicosia has something for everyone.

So, we wonder what the four thieves were planning to do. Do they intend to resell the stolen items online or hand to hand without getting caught?

What were they even thinking? It’s so obvious that these unfortunate criminals are going to spend a lot of jail terms behind bars.
