Precious Chikwendu, the wife of former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode, claims the ministers’ girlfriends abused their four children.
Precious made the claims in an Abuja court with an elaborated document.
They were constantly exposed to different levels of indecency through their contact with Fani women in “very awkward and uncompromising positions”, she claimed.
It was a response to the former minister’s appeal against a previous court judgment, claiming lack of jurisdiction, non-service of originating summons, and unfair hearing.
In that appeal, the former minister asked the court to dismiss the case or return it to the Federal High Court of the Federal Capital Territory’s chief judge.
It ordered Femi Fani-Kayode to be given the notices and ordered custody proceedings to begin immediately.
In response to the appeal, Precious Fani-Kayode claimed that the former minister had denied her access to their children using security and protocol officers since August 2, 2020.
The incident occurred after Precious Fani-Kayode went for a walk around the house and was denied access to the former minister’s residence or their children.
She also claimed that Femi Fani-Kayode was unfit to care for their four children, leaving them to the mercy of various women and nannies.
The document stated that “I am concerned about my children’s education, as my first son has been banned from school since August 2020, and the triplets are not in school or given education access.
She said as a young mother, she has been traumatized and physically assaulted by the appellant who is determined to take her children and prolong this appeal.
She also stated that she must protect her rights and interests as well as that of her little children.
She claims that if her application is denied, the former minister may remove the children from the custody of the courts.
