Priestly Ordination Of Rev. Jude Thaddeus Chilaka Osondu

It’s the ordination of multi-talented Deacon Jude Thaddeus Chilaka Osondu in few days and we just can’t keep calm.

Deacon Jude who hails from Abor, Imo state will be officially ordained as a Priest on the 18th of September, 2021 at the Mater Ecclesiae Cathedral, Ahiara Mbaise, Imo State, Nigeria.

As practicing Catholics, we all know that the Rite of Ordination is what makes one a priest of the Most High God. So, we use this medium to invite you to Deacon Jude’s priestly ordination.

According to St. Augustine, “to fall in love with God is the greatest of romances, to seek Him the greatest adventure and to find Him is the greatest human achievement.”

Sunday, 19th of September, Deacon Jude who will officially be called Rev. Fr. Jude, will hold his first Holy Mass of Thanksgiving at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Mbiase. You are all invited.

Deacon Jude whose nickname is ‘Deus’ is known for his vast array of educational achievements. He had his primary education at Coker primary school, Surulere Lagos. He later proceeded to Command Children school, Lagos for his secondary school education.

Deacon Jude went to Mater Ecclesiae seminary Mbaise in 2003. He also studied Philosophy at the Seat of Wisdom Seminary Owerri after which he was sent to Bigard Memorial seminary (class of 2014) for his Theological studies.

He is currently studying Religion, Democracy, and Education at the prestigious Harvard University.

The priesthood is an irreplaceable and indispensable vocation in the world. Deacon Jude will be flying to Nigeria for his ordination from Boston where he just concluded his Licentiate studies in Sacred Theology at Boston College.

We are happy you have made the right choice by saying yes to serve humanity in the footstep of Jesus Christ. This indeed is a dream come true. We are super proud of you “Fr. Jude.”

We wish you all the best and may our good Lord use you to reach many in the world. We wish you God’s guidance as you start this journey of ushering the people of God to the kingdom of God.
