Ronaldo Sets Club-Goals Record After Scoring Against Everton On Sunday

Cristiano Ronaldo, a forward for Manchester United, created history on Sunday night when he scored in his team’s 2-1 Premier League victory over Everton.

Ronaldo and Antony’s goals helped Man United beat Everton at Goodison Park.

Super Eagles’ midfielder, scored the only goal for Frank Lampard’s side against Man United.

With the goal he scored against Everton, Ronaldo, the captain of Portugal, became the first player in football history to score his 700th club goal.

In the course of his career, Ronaldo has represented Sporting Lisbon, United (twice), Real Madrid, and Juventus.

The 37-year-old scored five goals in 31 games for Sporting, 450 for Real in 438 games, and 101 for Juventus in 134 games.

Ronaldo scored 118 goals in 298 games during his first stay at Manchester United, and 26 in 48 games during his current second stint.

In contrast, since making his Portugal debut in 2003, Ronaldo has scored a world-record 117 goals in 191 international matches.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
