Recently, Pope Francis on January 26, 2021 announced and declared that not only Martha but also Mary and Lazarus– the friends of Jesus should be celebrated together on this day, July 29. The gospels tells us that they welcomed Jesus frequently into their house and Jesus made His home not only in their home but essentially in their hearts. Their hearts was the dwelling place of God. They believe in Him and in the power of His resurrection. They were his friends that had cater for His needs. God wants to pitch his tent in your heart to remain there but the choice is yours. We are either a friend or foe. Christ is the resurrection and the life, the bread of life he who goes to him snd open the door of his heart shall not hunger he who believes in me shall not thirst.
Saints Martha, Mary and Lazarus, pray for us. Amen.
