GENUINE FAITH GROWS THROUGH UNDERSTANDING
Every Christian believes that knowing God is the highest knowledge, which strengthens and renews faith and confidence. The Scriptures describe disciples as guided by the Lord, anointed to serve through the Holy Spirit, who leads them into truth to strengthen their faith. Knowledge deepens love for Christ by revealing His virtues, sacrifices, and ongoing work, making love more meaningful. It also bolsters hope, removing ignorance that blocks seeing the glory that awaits, allowing us to look forward with confidence.
Knowledge gives reasons for patience, helping us see Christ’s compassion and the good that comes from discipline. Growth in knowledge and grace is essential, as patience, trust, and faith are rooted in understanding. We wait patiently because we trust that our efforts are not in vain. Serving the Lord in worship, service, and trust is both our duty and privilege. Tests will come, and faith will be tried. Genuine faith withstands trials and reminds us of God’s patience. Knowing God makes us strong; He protects us as a shepherd watches over His flock.
