She shared that the after-effects of the treatment for the condition are quite obvious so it affected her confidence and she couldn’t share herself with the world the way she wanted to. Tolani Otedola shared that the entertainment industry places high value on appearance so she struggled and regretted that she had to be kept down by something that made her forget that it is a blessing to be alive after many lost their loved ones during this horrible period.

Femi Otedola’s daughter noted that being self-conscious about her outward appearance would mean her forgetting about what she survived and undervalue her inner healing.
