U.S. Added Over 1,000 New Millionaires Daily In 2024

Prosperity in the United States soared last year at an extraordinary rate, with over 379,000 people becoming new dollar millionaires—averaging more than 1,000 new millionaires each day—according to UBS’s 2025 Global Wealth Report, which was published on Wednesday.

The report emphasized that global net worth increased by 4.6% in 2024, with the Americas spearheading the surge at over 11% growth. This rise was primarily fueled by a stable U.S. dollar and robust performance in financial markets.

The United States alone represented nearly 40% of all global millionaires, solidifying its position as the world’s epicenter of wealth.

While the U.S. led at the millionaire tier, the report indicated that Greater China—encompassing mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan—dominated the global mid-tier wealth segment. It had the highest number of individuals with a net worth between $100,000 and $1 million, comprising 28.2% of that group, followed by Western Europe at 25.4% and North America at 20.9%.

Despite this growth, the report highlighted that over 80% of adults worldwide still possess a net worth below $100,000. Only about 1.6% of the global adult population has a net worth of $1 million or more.

Looking forward, UBS forecasts that average wealth per adult will keep rising steadily over the next five years, driven mainly by gains in the United States and, to a smaller extent, Greater China.

The findings underscore a broader recovery in global wealth following a volatile 2022, with growth now concentrated in regions with robust economies and strong equity markets.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
