Wiz Khalifa Is Calling For Peace For The Entertainment Industry

Wiz Khalifa posted an important message on his social media account. Check it out here.

As entertainers lets try some shit next year. Minding our own business. Not dis respecting each others family, dead homies, or area they come from. Stop using someone else’s significant other as a one up to the other person. Actually showing the same love you expect to get.

Back in February, Wiz Khalifa  shared his  Taylor Nights  playlist and during an Instagram Live session with some of his friends, the rapper told a story of the time Kevin Durant left him outside of a nightclub many years ago.

According to Hot New Hip Hop, there is additional context to the story, notably, that  Wiz Khalifa  and Kevin Durant were outside of a nightclub a few years back but Khalifa got left behind somehow.

Peace comes from being able to contribute the best that we have, and all that we are, towards creating a world that supports everyone. But it is also securing the space for others to contribute the best that they have and all that they are.

“Peace does not rest in the charters and covenants alone. It lies in the hearts and minds of all people. So let us not rest all our hopes on parchment and on paper, let us strive to build peace, a desire for peace, a willingness to work for peace in the hearts and minds of all of our people. I believe that we can. I believe the problems of human destiny are not beyond the reach of human beings.” ~ John F. Kennedy

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
