14-Year-Old Arrested For Murder Of Daughter Of Nonprofit CEO

A 14-year-old girl has been arrested and charged with the murder of a California lady, the daughter of a well-known activist who worked for victims of human trafficking.

The anonymous adolescent has been designated as the suspect in the March 21 shooting death of Kendra Reana McIntyre, 20.

McIntyre (shown above) was gunned killed while walking in South Los Angeles, which is renowned for s*x trade and human trafficking, according to KFSN.

According to the publication, investigators determined that McIntyre was a victim of human trafficking.

McIntyre was shot while walking at the southeast corner of 70th Street and Figueroa Street on March 21 at roughly 4:20 a.m., according to an LAPD press release dated Tuesday, May 7.

She was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead.

Debra Rush, the 20-year-old’s mother, is the co-founder and CEO of Breaking the Chains, a non-profit in Fresno that operates a safe house to “break the chains of human trafficking” for survivors.

According to its website, the organisation collaborates with local, state, and federal law enforcement to “provide hope, healing, and restoration to lives impacted by human trafficking.”

Rush stated that her daughter experienced “childhood trauma” and suffered from “severe mental health issue(s).”

“My daughter never got the chance to unlock her vault,” Rush wrote in a statement obtained by ABC 30. “Even though we stood outside, banging on the door, crying and pleading for her to open it.”

According to KCAL, the LA Medical Examiner’s Office determined that McIntyre was shot in the head and neck.

Two months after the incident, the South Bureau Homicide Division investigated the murder and identified the adolescent as a suspect.

The LAPD did not explain how the teen was identified as the prime suspect. She was arrested without incident on Monday, May 6.

The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office filed a murder accusation against the child on Tuesday, May 7, 2024.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
