US Journalist Alleges Obama Worked Against Kamala Harris In The Last Election

Jonathan Allen, a senior journalist at NBC News, has asserted that former U.S. President Barack Obama covertly undermined Kamala Harris following Joe Biden’s exit from the presidential contest.

During a discussion on MSNBC on Tuesday evening, April 1, Allen suggested that Obama quietly advocated for an open primary, feeling that Harris wasn’t the strongest candidate for the Democratic Party.

“President Obama absolutely did not think that Joe Biden should continue, according to our sources close to President Obama,” Allen declared.

“And he also didn’t want Kamala Harris to be the replacement for Biden. He didn’t think that she was the best choice for Democrats, and he worked really behind the scenes for a long time to try to have a mini-primary or an open convention. He did not have faith in her ability to win the election. As it turned out, she didn’t win, but he was really working against her.”

Harris emerged as the Democratic presidential nominee after Biden stepped back from pursuing another term. Yet, despite Allen’s assertions, Obama had openly supported and actively campaigned for Harris in the months before the election against Donald Trump.

Contrary to Allen’s claims, Obama had publicly backed and campaigned for Harris to become president in her race against Donald Trump.

Harris ultimately fell short against Donald Trump, who secured victories in both the electoral college and the popular vote.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
