Tottenham Hotspur signs Callum Olusesi

Midfielder Callum Olusesi, born in England with Nigerian heritage, has agreed to a fresh contract with Tottenham Hotspur.

On their official website, Tottenham revealed that Olusesi committed to the new agreement, securing his stay with the club until 2029.

“We are delighted to announce that Callum Olusesi has signed a new contract with the Club, which will run until 2029,” the club stated.

“The 18-year-old central midfielder has progressed through our Academy ranks and earned his senior team debut during our 3-2 win over TSG Hoffenheim in the Europa League in January this year.

“An England Under-18 international, Callum contributed to our youth squad that clinched both the Under-17 and Under-18 Premier League Cup titles in 2022/23, before stepping up to debut for the Under-21s near the close of our Premier League 2 championship-winning season last year.

“Though still eligible to play for the Under-18s, he kicked off this season fully integrated with the Under-21s, quickly assuming the captain’s role and bagging his first goal at that level against Southampton in August.

“He has scored four goals across nine Premier League 2 matches so far this campaign.

“At the senior level, he has been included in our first team squad on 21 occasions to date.”

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.

“A lot of companies have chosen to downsize, and maybe that was the right thing for them. We chose a different path. Our belief was that if we kept putting great products in front of customers, they would continue to open their wallets.”
