Veteran Nigerian artist Innocent Idibia, also known by his stage name 2Baba (2face), has reconciled with his mother, Mrs. Rosemary Idibia amid speculations surrounding his alleged marriage to Honourable Natasha Osawaru.
Remember how Mrs. Idibia previously made headlines when she publicly begged for help in her son’s private matters?
She asked Nigerians to help convince Natasha Osawaru to “release” 2Baba from what she called a problematic position in a widely shared video message.
When Wilson Anuge, the Idibia family’s attorney, petitioned the Department of State Services (DSS) to declare 2Baba missing, the matter became more heated.
The musician left his home in his loungewear on February 10 and has been missing since, according to the family’s February 7, 2025, plea.
However, in a video making rounds on social media on Sunday, 2Baba and his mother were seen posing for photographs, surrounded by close friends and associates. In one of the videos, Natasha Osawaru appeared alongside a teenager, with 2Baba later joining them, dressed in black sportswear.
2Baba recently confirmed his relationship with Osawaru, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly representing the Egor Constituency under the Peoples Democratic Party. His confirmation came shortly after announcing his separation from his wife, Annie Idibia, with whom he shares two daughters.
In a video shared on Instagram, the singer openly professed his love for Osawaru, stating, “Yes, I love her. She’s amazing, she’s cool. I want to marry her.” He also emphasized that Osawaru had no role in the issues that led to his separation from Annie.
