Ruth Eze Advises Ladies Under Pressure To Get Married

Ruth Eze, a Nigerian actress, has cautioned women who feel pressured to marry, telling them to put more effort into choosing the ideal partner than making snap decisions based on expectations from society or the internet.

Ruth Eze stressed that marrying the wrong person to prove a point could result in regret and sadness in a recent Instagram post, cautioning against letting social media trends or the need to impress others influence one’s marital decisions.

“My sister, it’s better to wait and marry right o, don’t allow the internet pressure you o. No go marry mad man because you want to pepper people that don’t give a f*ck about you. Hmm, no go marry mad man because you wan marry spec o. Calm down o,” she wrote.

“My point is: Wait that wait and marry right. While waiting, you fit drop one o, that one dey. I don talk my own ooo,” she added humorously.

My take on this is that ladies should avoid rushing into marriage . Don’t succumb to societal or family pressure. It’s better to wait for the right person and the right time than to rush into a marriage that isn’t right for you.
