ISWAP Terrorists Brutally Execute 7 Civilian JTF And Hunters In Borno

Members of the Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP) have murdered seven individuals, including hunters, Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) operatives, and community watch members in Magumeri Local Government Area of Borno State.

In a 6-minute, 41-second video circulated online, a masked ISWAP fighter is observed questioning the captives individually before their execution.

The footage depicts the victims, clad in red jumpsuits, kneeling with armed militants positioned behind them, wielding rifles and jackknives.

According to a translation by Daily Trust, the group’s commander accused the captives of hypocrisy and collaborating with “infidels,” which he claimed warranted their execution.

The video then explicitly shows the militants using knives to cut the throats of all seven captives before disposing of their bodies in a shallow ditch.

A senior official from Magumeri local government council, who requested anonymity, verified the incident to the Daily Trust.

The official identified four of the victims as members of the CJTF and local hunters.

“We were aware they had been abducted and were hoping for a rescue. Unfortunately, we woke up to this horrific news. We pray Allah forgives them and grants strength to their families,” the official said.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
