SANWO-OLU, DANIEL SHAKE HANDS: A Symbol of Unity and Cooperation

In a powerful display of solidarity and cooperation, Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, was seen shaking hands with Hon. Oluwafemi Odunayo Daniel, the newly inaugurated Chairman of Itire-Ikate Local Council Development Area (LCDA), after the swearing-in ceremony of the 57 Local Government Chairmen in Lagos State.

The handshake, which was witnessed by several dignitaries and stakeholders, sent a strong message of unity and cooperation between the state government and the local government administration. It symbolized the Governor’s commitment to working closely with the newly elected Chairmen to drive development and progress in their local governments.

The gesture was particularly significant, coming on the heels of the inauguration ceremony, which marked a new chapter in the administration of the local governments. By extending a hand of fellowship to Hon. Daniel and his colleagues, Governor Sanwo-Olu demonstrated his administration’s willingness to support and empower the local government Chairmen to deliver on their mandates.

The handshake was also seen as a goodwill gesture and a commitment to collaborative governance. It is expected that this spirit of cooperation will yield dividends for the people of Lagos State, as the state government and local government administration work together to address the needs and challenges of the citizens.

As Hon. Daniel and his colleagues embark on their four-year tenure, the handshake with Governor Sanwo-Olu serves as a reminder of the importance of teamwork, cooperation, and collective effort in driving development and progress in Lagos State.
