Newcastle Rejects Liverpool’s Opening Bid For Alexander Isak

Newcastle United have turned down a formal bid from Liverpool, valued at approximately £110million, for their sought-after striker Alexander Isak.

The proposed offer is significantly below the £150m threshold that would prompt Newcastle to entertain a transfer deal.

Isak has voiced his intention to depart Newcastle this summer, though the club has steadfastly maintained their position that he is not available for sale.

The Swedish star was excluded from Newcastle’s pre-season roster and has been training solo at his previous club, Real Sociedad, amid ongoing speculation about his future.

Newcastle’s recent intensified efforts to sign a new striker indicate they may be preparing for Isak’s potential exit, but only once a suitable replacement is secured.

Liverpool had made an informal approach to Newcastle just weeks after finalizing a £100m transfer for Florian Wirtz.

Newcastle reportedly place Isak’s value at a record-breaking British transfer fee, demanding in excess of £150m to approve his sale.

Isak, who has three years left on his contract, has established himself as one of the Premier League’s most clinical forwards, scoring 54 league goals over the past three seasons.

Isak has reportedly reached an agreement on personal terms with Liverpool and is determined to secure a move to Anfield, despite interest from clubs in the Saudi Pro League.

Following their recent sale of Luis Diaz in a deal worth up to €75m, Liverpool may come back with a higher bid for Isak.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
