Living In The U.S. Aged Me So Fast, I Don’t Know What To Blame – Nigerian Woman Writes

Nigerian woman Chioma Chinaka Okwum has revealed that she has aged considerably since moving to the US.

According to Chioma, who revealed this in a Facebook post on Friday, August 1, the early aging may have been caused by a number of variables, including food, the weather, stress, loneliness, and solitude.

She wrote;

“Living in that USA aged me so fast. I don’t know what to blame. The food. The weather. The people. The stress. The solitude.

“Or the fact that I miss my mummy and daddy so much. But I have aged so much since I moved here.

“I was hustling bad in Nigeria. But I was still finer and fresher than I am here in the USA. This is a reminder that maybe this weather is not the best for tropical bodies just like mine.

“But nonetheless we keep moving.  When shall I see my home? I will Never forget my home,” she wrote.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
