Bimbo Akintola, a Nollywood actress, has said that Ninety percent of men cheat.
She said this in a podcast conversation with Ayo Adesanya, another actor.
Citing a startling 90–99% rate, Akintola claimed that a sizable majority of Nigerian men cheat on their partners.
She said, “I don’t know where this idea of fidelity in Africa came from. Your father cheats, your grandfather cheated, my father has two wives.
“I can’t tell you whether to stay or leave but you leave this one and move to the next one, you still have the same issue. They all cheat, 90 percent of them cheat, it’s engraved in them.
“I know you might want to change them but I hear characters are fully formed when you’re seven years old. Some of them started by following their daddy to girlfriends’ house.
“I’m not excusing it don’t get me wrong, I am just being realistic when it comes to these kinds of situation.”
