Man D!es While F!ghting With Another Man He Met At Girlfriend’s House

A tragic incident stemming from a romantic dispute occurred in Mpasatia, located in the Atwima Mponua District of Ghana, resulting in the death of a 36-year-old man on Saturday, 23 August 2025.

The deceased, Emmanuel Somiah, had reportedly visited his girlfriend’s residence, Cynthia Nyarko, around 5 p.m. to retrieve personal items. According to witnesses, Emmanuel encountered another man, identified only as Jeff, who had also come to visit Cynthia. The meeting reportedly sparked a heated altercation that quickly escalated into physical violence.

“We heard shouting and sounds of a scuffle from the house, but it went quiet shortly after. When I entered, I saw Emmanuel lying motionless. Cynthia claimed she didn’t know what had happened,” a witness stated.

Emmanuel was hurriedly transported on a tricycle to a nearby health facility, but medical personnel declared him dead upon arrival. Authorities have detained Cynthia Nyarko to aid in the ongoing investigation, while a search is underway for Jeff, who is suspected to have fled the scene.

The Atwima Mponua District Police Command has launched a comprehensive investigation to determine the full details of the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
